#Socialites, get into this! After claiming she was broke and bankrupt, Tasha K is reportedly finally looking to settle her $4 million defamation lawsuit debt with Cardi B. According to documents obtained by XXL, the controversial YouTube vlogger is looking to offer the Bronx rapper 20 quarterly payments of $222,000.
Music and news publication XXL reports that they received court documents on Friday (August 25) that reportedly show Tasha K, full name Latasha Kebe, offering to enter into a payment plan to finish paying off Cardi B, full name Belcalis Almanzar, after losing her defamation case and being ordered to pay the “Lick” rapper a whopping $4 million.
According to the alleged documents, on Wednesday (August 23), Kebe filed a Plan of Reorganization in her Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing, initially filed earlier this year. In the filing, Kebe reportedly breaks down how she plans to pay off all of her creditors she put in the bankruptcy, including the Bronx rapper.
Additionally, Kebe’s bankruptcy petition claims that while her debt ranges from $1 million to $10 million, she only possesses about $50,000-$100,000 in total assets. Included in that is a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado, home furniture, $500 worth of electronics, $2,500 worth of clothes, plus two Louis Vuitton purses.
Furthermore, it’s reported that in Kebe’s proposed payment plan, she is offering to pay Almanzar $222,000 in 20 quarterly payments to settle the remaining $3.8 million she owes in her defamation lawsuit. At the time of publishing this article, Almanzar has not yet formerly responded to the repayment plan offered by Kebe. However, it is reported that the rapper does have the opportunity to vote on whether or not she will approve it.
In the meantime, Kebe has another confirmation hearing scheduled for October 23, 2023 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
As we’ve been reporting, Almanzar has been relentless in her fight to get what she is owed from Kebe, who recently claimed she was broke and bankrupt. On October 13, 2022, Judge William Ray ruled that the blogger immediately pay the rapper nearly $4 million after she made salacious claims of Almanzar: having an STD being a prostitute; and using drugs.
During the trial, the rapper admitted that because of the false and defamatory claims made against her, it affected her professional and person lives. She even claimed to have become suicidal, admitting, “I felt defeated and depressed and I didn’t want to sleep with my husband.” She also claimed that she felt as if she “didn’t deserve” her sweet daughter Kulture, whom she welcomed with Migos rapper Offset in July 2018.
