Offset has announced a new release date for his debut solo album and shared a trailer for its supporting documentary.

The teaser features footage of the rapper in the studio, onstage alongside Quavo and Takeoff and in a car FaceTiming his son.

The final scene is a clip of his wife Cardi B giving birth to their daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus.

Offset’s label Quality Control Music shared the trailer on Twitter.

Offset released the trailer following the 2019 Grammy Awards on Sunday, where Cardi B performed Money and won the award for Best Rap Album

Cardi B made history as the first female solo act to win that award.

Following her return home, Cardi B posted a video of her daughter, Kulture, saying “mama.”

“After a week of only saying papa !She saying mama! Happy 7 months Kulture ! We love you @offsetyrn @hennessycarolina @melo9.11,” Cardi B captioned the video.

Offset’s debut solo album will be released on Feb. 22. Fans have been waiting on the album since late 2018.

The Ric Flair Drip rapper was scheduled to release his album on Dec. 14 but the album was pushed back following his breakup with Cardi B.

The 27-year-old rapper has previously described his debut solo project as more of a “playlist” and “not an album.”

“I’m not really talking too much about Pateks and Lambos because it’s not relatable,” he told Billboard. “That’s almost like bubblegum rap now, how the people are accepting it. They just get two days of playing it, then it’s over with. This can last and people can feel it […] I’m really pushing my album to be a playlist and not an album, because a playlist is consistently being played for moves, exercises, and different things.”

Quavo recently revealed that Offset’s solo debut would drop ahead of Culture III in 2019.
