In just 24 hours, Adele’s new song set a record for listeners.

According to the Daily Mail reported on October 27, Adele’s new song Hello after only 24 hours of release had 27.7 million views, marking the talented singer’s spectacular return after 4 years of absence.

This impressive number also means that Adele broke Taylor Swift’s record for her most recent single  Bad Blood , reaching 20.1 million views on the first day of release. Adele said she did not expect that her single would achieve such great success.

Adele’s new song Hello became the most viewed music video online within the first 24 hours after its release, breaking Taylor Swift’s previous record.

In terms of the same music genre, Adele boasts 90 million views on YouTube after five days, while Taylor’s hit recorded nearly 600 million views after five months. Hello is expected to set a record of exceeding 100 million views on YouTube in the first 7 days, second only to Gentleman – Psy’s record and Miley Cyrus’s Wrecking Ball .

Hello ‘s nostalgic, soulful melody sold 165,00 copies in just 3 days and according to the Singles Ranking Company, there were about 156,000 downloads of this song. According to some music experts, this song will help Adele climb to the top of the US charts.

Producer of the single  Hello , Greg Kurstin admitted that he had to restrain himself to keep the song a secret until the last minute. In an interview with The Associated Press, the 46-year-old Hello co-writer said: “I’m not going to lie, it wasn’t easy to keep this song confidential for such a long time.”  .

He added: “When I finished the song, I wanted to scream loudly, run out into the street, run around and shout to strangers what I had just done.”

Adele shared on Instagram that she is very excited and that she will release the album on November 20.

New song Hello  debuted worldwide on The Radio 1 Breakfast Show last Friday and topped the iTunes singles chart in 102 countries. Adele’s new album is expected to hit store shelves from November 20 and has already been pre-ordered in about 93 countries.
