Singer confirms return to pop/punk origins with “Cannoball” and “Love Sux”

The new era is coming with everything! Avril Lavigne  has been piquing fans’ curiosity with several spoilers on social media about her upcoming work. This Wednesday (12/05), the singer revealed another excerpt and title of a song from the album’s tracklist which, according to her, will arrive in the summer of the northern hemisphere. After announcing the track  “Cannoball” , it was time for  “Love Sux” .

With publicity photos, the Canadian shared excerpts of the lyrics that will supposedly be on the tracks. It is worth remembering that this information corroborates, until now, the list of songs that had already reached fans through a careless post by one of AL7’s producers.

“ Tired of being cautious, you make me nauseous ”, say the lyrics of  “Love Sux” , while  “Cannoball”  warns about the singer’s new rock phase: “ Take your best shot, give me everything you have, because I I’ll be as hot as a cannonball.”

What is known so far is that the singer is producing songs of the new era, which revisits her past in pop/rock, a style that projected her in 2002, with the release of “  Complicated”, “Sk8er Boi”  and many other hits. , with names like  Mashmello, MGK, Diplo  (  Major Lazer ) and  YoungBlood , as well as her boyfriend, singer  MOD SUN , with whom she collaborated on  “Flames” .

Avril Lavigne  will, in fact, be on  Willow Smith ‘s new album . The two will share vocals on the track  “Grow” , which marks the North American artist’s new era in pop/punk – a style that is beginning to gain new momentum in the music industry. Although there is still no release date for the album and single, the young woman spoke about her dream collaboration.
