Canadian singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne and Vietnamese-Jamaican rapper Tyga have ended their relationship after four months of dating.
The couple broke up on good terms a few weeks ago and decided to remain friends, reported TMZ.

A friend of Lavigne told the Daily Mail why the couple broke up.
“Avril didn’t want to be locked into anything. Tyga was a rebound and he helped her get away from her toxic relationship with Mod Sun.”
The relationship started when Lavigne was spotted on a date with Tyga in February, when she was still engaged to the American singer-songwriter Mod Sun.
She immediately announced to end her engagement and confirmed her relationship with Tyga, leaving Mod Sun, who was on tour, “blindsided” by her decision.
However, an insider denied that Lavigne was cheating on Mod Sun with Tyga.
Lavigne, 39, is well-known for her musical career. She divorced Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger in 2015 after two years of marriage and divorced Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley in 2010 after three years of marriage.
Tyga, 34, born Micheal Ray Stevenson, to a Jamaican father and a Vietnamese mother.
