The Grammy-nominated performer’s appearance at the function occurred just a few months after the release of her newest studio album, Love Sux.

She went on to sign a record deal with Travis Barker’s label, DTA Records, in November of that year, and she also released a single entitled Bite Me that same month.

Love Sux has since received generally positive reviews from critics, many of whom praised Lavigne’s return to her pop-punk roots.
