Abbey Dawn fashion brand officially launched in July 2008. This product line is mainly for teenagers who are still in school. Abbey Dawn is Avril ‘s childhood nickname . Last September, the female singer of the song Girlfriend put her designs on the catwalk of New York Fashion Week and received a lot of praise.
After breaking up with her husband Deryck Whibley after 3 years of marriage, Avril Lavigne devoted all her attention to her singing and fashion design career. Avril filed for divorce last October.
