Goran Ivanisevic was appointed to Djokovic’s coaching team in 2019 and has achieved much success with the world’s No. 1 tennis player.

Nacional (Croatia) newspaper reported that Goran Ivanisevic is earning about 6,000-10,000 Euro weekly when coaching Novak Djokovic. When those numbers are converted to 12 months, it is estimated that Ivanisevic earns around 300,000-500,000 Euros annually (8-13 billion VND).

Additionally, Nacional reported that Ivanisevic is entitled to a 10% commission of Djokovic’s prize money whenever the Serbian wins a Grand Slam. It is estimated that Ivanisevic has earned about 300,000 euros (8 billion VND) for Djokovic’s three Grand Slam championships in 2023.

However, it should be noted that neither Ivanisevic nor Djokovic have ever publicly disclosed their personal salaries. Nacional has several reliable sources but this information is still considered unofficial.

Since then, the two have achieved much success together as Djokovic has collected nine titles. Recently, Ivanisevic shared about the process of participating in coaching Novak Djokovic.

“You are always stressed. There were five of us in the team, but everything always fell on me. That’s normal when you’re a coach. On the field, people consider me a difficult person, but off the field I am completely different. I’m quite calm.

No one believed that I could become a good coach. You need to know how to bury your ego. You are no longer important. Players are very important ,” Ivanisevic said during a conference. He also said he was honored to work with “a genius.

Novak Djokovic will return to the tennis world after a break from competition since winning the championship at the US Open 2023. He will return at the ATP 1000 Paris Masters tournament taking place from October 30 to November 5.
