Does the video show Adele singing with a Palestinian flag?

In a video shared on social media, it was claimed that British singer Adele was singing while holding a Palestinian flag in her hand. Adele, who walked around a crowded hall with a flag, received plenty of applause from the audience.

The flag in Adele’s hand is Mexican flag, not Palestine

The longer and original version of the images was shared on TikTokin October 2023. The same images are also available on YouTube. 

When the video is examined, different patterns and shapes stand out on the flag that is claimed to belong to Palestine.

The Palestinian flag consists only of colors and has no motif . 

With an image taken from the following minutes of the video, it is possible to match the shapes on the flag with Mexico.

The singer gave a concert at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, USA, at the end of September 2023, as part of a tour titled “Weekends with Adele”. In other words, it is not the Palestinian flag in the images and the clashes between Israel and Hamas have not started yet.

The images in the video are compatible with the outfit worn by the singer in the photos dated October 1, 2023, which he shared on his X account.
