Guinness World Records recognizes Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ as the tour with the highest revenue of 1 billion USD of all time
The Guinness World Records news page has officially posted about Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, confirming that it is the highest-grossing music tour ever and the first to surpass the $1 billion USD revenue mark.
According to Pollstar, the tour began in March 2023 and has earned $1.04 billion USD to date. However, because the tour has not yet ended and will continue until December 2024, it will bring in even more money.
In comparison, the singer born in 1989’s tour grossed more money than the second and third highest-grossing tours this year combined. Beyoncé and Bruce Springsteen are the owners of these two tours.
Eras Tour was described by Taylor Swift as a journey through all the “eras” her music, that’s why she brought concerts lasting more than 3 and a half hours with a set of 44 songs. The tour was not only well received by fans but also received many positive reviews from critics. Experts praised Taylor Swift’s concept, production quality, and performance.
According to estimates, each concert attracts about 72,000 attendees with an average ticket price of 238 USD. Thus, this pop star is currently earning more than 17 million USD for each of his performances.
Taylor Swift is the center of global attention thanks to her “speaking numbers” from the Eras Tour.
December 12, Guinness announced Eras Tour officially set a world record with revenue of 1.04 billion USD, despite only holding more than 60 shows. Eras Tour became the first tour with the highest revenue of all time, surpassing 1 billion USD, according to page Pollstar.
