Husband Alexis Ohanian Teases Fans With His Cryptic ‘In the Arena’ Message for Serena Williams

It has been months since we last saw Serena Williams in action but she barely has caught a breadth. Following her retirement from tennis, the American legend has been busy with her business ventures while making appearances at various events worldwide. Additionally, she gave birth to her second child earlier this year. The activities keep on going for the 23-time Grand Slam champion as her husband, Alexis Ohanian, made a cryptic announcement.

The Reddit co-founder shares a healthy bond with Serena Williams and the two are often involved in some adorable moments together. Here’s what he said about his wife.

The father-of-two is quite active on social media platforms like Twitter (Now X) and Instagram. On this occasion, he took to his official Twitter handle to share glimpses of his wife in action, albeit off the court.

Sharing a picture behind the camera, Alexis Ohanian said, “Shooting for In the Arena: Serena Williams.” Thus, he hinted that a new biopic on his wife may be in the making.

This may not be the first time a story on Serena Williams will hit the theatres if the rumors are true. A couple of years back, a biopic on her father, King Richard, was released that garnered a massive fan craze. It was a story about how the Williams family overcame tough times to emerge out of the shackles and be successful.

The biopic had a deep connection with Serena Williams, and it moved her deeply after she watched it for the first time. Emotions were felt as she reminisced her life story.

When Serena Williams cried after watching King Richard
Serena Williams, along with her sister Venus, were executive producers of the biopic on their father. Will Smith excelled in the role of Richard Williams and watching the story made Serena Williams cry.

Talking about the emotions that went through on watching the film for the first time, the American legend said, “We changed fashion, we changed tennis, and we hit big shots, and we won and we lost, and we cried and we laughed. And that was the accumulation of all these moments. And it was a wonderful moment.”
It won’t be a surprise if another biopic on the Williams family in general and Serena Williams in particular comes out, given the massive life story that they carry. Nonetheless, fans will be in deep anticipation as Alexis Ohanian further clears his cryptic announcement.
