A Spider-Man 4 fan poster sees Peter Parker crossing over with the Fantastic Four, as they are getting ready to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Fantastic Four joins Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4 in new Marvel Cinematic Universe fan art. Following Spider-Man: No Way Home, the adventures of Peter Parker are far from over as Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios are teaming up again on a new Spider-Man trilogy for the young New York hero. While little movement has happened on Spider-Man 4, Holland shared earlier in the year that conversations are happening about his sequel.

The world is actively waiting to get new updates on Spider-Man 4, including who will be the villain in the next installment. While a big bad hasn’t been announced yet, Erathrim shared artwork for Spider-Man 4, imagining the web-slinger joining forces with the Fantastic Four.

The Spider-Man 4 artwork also cleverly deals with a long-time MCU mystery as the Fantastic Four are revealed to be the new owners of Tony Stark’s old tower. The prediction of Spider-Man 4 having the Fantastic Four in it is too far-fetched, as Peter has had connections to the team in the comics.

Everything We Know About Spider-Man 4 So Far

To this point, no director is set for Spider-Man 4, nor has any screenwriters been announced for the project. Holland is currently the only confirmed cast member, as it has yet to be clarified whether or not Zendaya’s M.J. and Jacob Batalon’s Ned Leeds will be back for Spider-Man 4. Assumingly, Spider-Man 4 will focus on Peter’s life after high school and now being on his own, after having the entire world forget who Peter is, in order to protect Spider-Man’s secret identity.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige have shared that Spider-Man, along with Charlie Cox’s Daredevil, will be the leading forces of the street-level heroes in the MCU. It wouldn’t be shocking if Spider-Man 4 ends up seeing Peter now banding himself together with heroes like Daredevil, Punisher and even have The Defenders return to the MCU. But as of right now, it is unclear when Peter will be back in the MCU, and if it will be before Spider-Man 4.

Despite being in active development, Spider-Man 4 has yet to get a release date by Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios.

With Phase 5 already stacked up on projects, it wouldn’t be shocking if Spider-Man 4 gets saved until Phase 6 at this point. Given the massive success behind Spider-Man: No Way Home, they will prioritize getting the web-crawler back into the MCU sooner rather than later. But for now, the world will have to wait and see what becomes of Spider-Man 4 in the next couple of months.
