This one Easter egg from The Dark Knight only adds to how Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man is the actual GOAT!

The Dark Knight was one of the best films from the DC Universe, and that’s an unarguable fact. The sequel to Batman Begins from the Christopher Nolan-directed trilogy, The Dark Knight is undoubtedly one of the biggest masterpieces from the DC Universe. Featuring Christian Bale as Batman and the late Heath Ledger as the Joker, the film was like a gift to most DC fans.

However, there is something that makes the movie even better and, surprisingly enough, that something appears right at the beginning of the film. Making everything more stunning and exciting is the fact that this Easter egg that fans recently dug up from the one-and-a-half-decade-old movie is related to the original modern Spider-Man film series from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

As astonishing as it could get, the opening scene of The Dark Knight sees a gang of ‘Jokers’ pairing up to pull a bank heist. In that very first scene, some eagle-eyed fans zoomed right up to one part of the screen that showed a movie poster. And it wasn’t some ordinary film poster: it was the poster of Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man 3.
