Tom Holland knows Zendaya will always be honest with him.
During a conversation with the SAG-AFTRA Foundation shared on YouTube Friday, the actor, 27, shared kind words about his girlfriend during a wide-ranging conversation about his career and recent series The Crowded Room.
“Zendaya is probably the most honest with me,” Holland said, after the moderator asked who in his life he turns to for opinions on his work. He added, “Which I love, ’cause you need that.”
Holland also cited his other Marvel costars Robert Downey Jr. and Benedict Cumberbatch as actors whose opinions he respects and seeks out for guidance. “Downey is very honest — sometimes a little too honest,” he joked. “I really respect Downey’s opinion. He taught me so much, I always sing his praises. I love the guy. I admire him.”

Holland and Zendaya have been romantically linked since 2016 after they were both cast in Spider-Man: Homecoming. They did not officially confirm their relationship until 2021, when they were spotted kissing in their car and subsequently went Instagram official.
While the pair generally remain private about their life together, they were recently seen playfully nudging each other while they signed posters for Spider-Man: No Way Home to benefit the Holland family’s charity The Brothers Trust, as seen in an Entertainment Tonight Instagram post.
In July, Holland addressed his interest in keeping his relationship with the Dune actress private during an appearance on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty Podcast. At the time, he described their relationship as “the thing I keep most sacred.”
“I don’t talk about it. I try my best to keep it as private as possible, we both feel very strongly that that is the healthiest way to move on as a couple,” he said, while discussing a desire to to “focus on what makes me happy” outside of his work in Hollywood.
