It is known that the cypress snake is a very famous snake in Taiwan, an extremely dangerous creature with deadly venom and is known as the hundred-step snake (cypress snake), the snub-nosed viper (named scientifically known as Deinagkistrodon acutus).
For most people in Taiwan, the common snake is a rare snake and very difficult to see.
Although the blood-dissolving venom of the Cypress snake is not strong, the huge amount of venom still makes it one of the most dangerous venomous snakes in Taiwan.
The name cypress snake (hundred-step snake) refers to the danger of snake venom, meaning that if a person is bitten by this snake, within 100 steps, his life will be in danger. Luckily, there is anti-venom serum for this snake.
