Ariana Grande knows what the season of giving is all about.
The pop star donated several Christmas gifts to Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity, which were given out to “babies, children and teenagers at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, Trafford General, Wythenshawe Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital,” the organization wrote in an Instagram post Monday.
The charity, which aims to enhance treatment, research and care provided to patients at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, also shared a photo of a Christmas tree surrounded by gifts and a framed note that reads “Thank you Ariana.”
“It’s so wonderful that Ariana has once again been so thoughtful and made this special donation to our family of hospitals,” wrote Tanya Hamid, interim director of Manchester Foundation Trust Charity.
Last Christmas, Grande donated nearly 1,000 presents to the England hospital, and the “34+35” singer gifted “vouchers, toys and gifts” in 2020 as well, according to social media posts by Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity.
“We know Manchester, and in particular Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, holds a special place in Ariana’s heart,” Hamid wrote.
Grande and Manchester, England, were bound together in tragedy on May 22, 2017, when a suicide bomber blew himself up at Manchester Arena as fans were leaving her show. The singer returned to the city two weeks later to take part in a memorial concert, which she helped organize.

Grande spoke out hours after the explosion killed 22 people. “Broken,” she tweeted. “From the bottom of my heart, i am so so sorry. i don’t have words.”
Grande has been open about her mental health following the Manchester bombing, as well as the death of ex-boyfriend Mac Miller in September 2018.
The Grammy-winning singer took to her Instagram Story in April 2019, sharing a screenshot that showed a scan of her brain, including areas that appeared to be affected by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
The screenshot compared images of a “healthy” brain and one affected by PTSD. Underneath that, Grande placed a photo labeled “my brain,” which looked shockingly similar to the brain with PTSD.
Grande described the scan results as both “hilarious and terrifying,” and making it clear it was “not a joke.”
