Ariana Grande’s recent weight loss has raised concerns about her health among loved ones.

The pop star has been following a vegan diet for years, but the source said Grande has “taken it to extremes.” “She subsists on the bare minimum – like smoothies, kale, seeds, nuts, broccoli and tofu,” the source added. “It’s gotten to the point where her shoulder blades are poking out. There’s very little flesh on her figure.”

Ariana has been busy shooting the musical Wicked in the U.K. lately, and eyewitnesses reported that she looked emaciated while leaving a London jazz club. However, Grande recently addressed the concerns about her weight loss in a candid TikTok video.
“I just wanted to address your concerns about my body and talk a little bit about what it means to be a person with a body, and to be seen and to be paid such close attention to,” she said.

Grande acknowledged that people have been comparing her current physique to the one she had while “on a lot of antidepressants” and “drinking on them and eating poorly.”

She said there are “many different ways” to look healthy and beautiful, adding that people should be less comfortable commenting on others’ bodies: “Healthy, unhealthy, big, small, this, that, sexy, not sexy, I don’t… We just shouldn’t. We should really work towards not doing that as much.”

Arianators took to Twitter to voice their concerns about the Victorious alum’s appearance, which several pubs including Ok! and The Sun called a “drastic change” from the way she usually looks. As fans got two Arianas for the price of one in the video, they analyzed her appearance while she was wearing a white oversized sweater as well as while she was wearing a purple vest top. The vest top seemed to show the “Positions” singer looking even smaller than usual, and perhaps even underweight. Or to quote one fan, “malnourished.”

Replying to a June 3rd @PopCrave Twitter post about Ariana’s video, one of the many fans who commented on her appearance said, “Someone said she looks AI generated,” followed by a crying emoji. “Every time I see pictures of this woman, she looks different,” wrote another, as many others couldn’t hide their concerns for her. “As an honest fan I’m so concerned about her,” said another worried fan, as another said, “I hope she’s okay,” followed by a sad face.

A few other fans wondered if she was on the controversial diabetes drug, Ozempic (which celebs like Anne Hathaway have been accused of being on) with one fan saying: “I need whatever she is taking for her weight loss. I know this girl has never worked out in her life so she must be on something. Need Ozempic.”

More fans had their own theories about why she looks so different at the moment, with a few thinking that she is simply overworked from the Wicked movie, or even depressed. “I think now she’s more depressed than ever,” one fan speculated, adding, “Maybe things are catching up to her finally and her boԀy is becoming tired. She’s not well… her hair is thinning.”
