Cardi B has let it be known that she’s ready to file paperwork after a stimulus scam cloned her voice for a video promoting “free” money.

Taking to Twitter/X on Wednesday (November 22), Bardi shared the clip that features a dub of her fake voice over a real video of her.

“Yo it’s ya girl Cardi and I’ma show you how to put $16,000 in your pocket right now for free!” AI Cardi says in the clip. “So pay attention! The state’s handing out these stacks to every single one of y’all. You don’t even need a job! It’s all part of a stimulus-style program to help Americans get back on their feet. They’re sending out these health spending cards re-loaded with that green every single month!”.

In her retweet, Cardi wrote: “AI is crazy smh….another lawsuit that fell right on my lap…I love easy money.”

One thing Cardi B did use her voice for recently was to push back against the major budget cuts for the Big Apple announced this month by New York City Mayor Eric Adams.

The Bronx native took to Instagram Live over the weekend, where she put Mayor Adams and the City on blast for the five percent across-the-board cuts, which are expected to negatively impact education, libraries, the police, and sanitation, among other city services.

“God forbid something happens to me or my family it’s because I’m speaking the truth,” Cardi began her explosive rant. “In New York, there is a $120million budget cut that’s going to affect schools, public libraries and the police department [Note: the $120m figure is only the amount that’s being cut from pre-K and 3-K programs — the total cut in education funding will be around $547M this fiscal year alone]… And a $5million in sanitation. We are going to be drowning in rats… It’s going to affect the whole New York.

“This what I’m telling y’all. This year, don’t ask me. I don’t give a (…) the résumé they send, I’m not endorsing no presidents no more. How is there a $100million budget cut in New York City?

She continued: “Yet Joe Biden is talking about, we can fund two wars… Where these kids gonna go? … What’s gonna happen to my nieces, my nephews, my aunts, my friends that’s living in the hood?”

The budget cuts announced by Mayor Adams are allegedly in response to the migrant crisis in New York.

“This has never happened in the history of New York City,” said Michael Mulgrew, who is the president of the United Federation of Teachers.

“The financial problem, as far as we know, is completely fabricated. We’ve been involved with budgets forever. We see what’s going on. The mayor said this is because of the asylum seekers. There is no foundation, there is no evidence.”
