Ranveer Singh and his swanky car Aston Martin became the talk of the town recently. The actor was spotted driving his car at the Mumbai airport, a video of which went viral on the internet. Some reports claimed that the vehicle’s insurance policy had expired. A netizen claimed that the actor was driving the car without a valid insurance policy. However, there is no truth to these claims.

THE TRUTH BEHIND RANVEER SINGH AND HIS CAR’S INSURANCE

A twitter user accused Ranveer Singh of driving his Rs 3.9 crore Aston Martin with an expired insurance policy. This happened after the actor took his hot wheels for a ride recently when he landed at the airport. Paps spotted him behind the wheels of his fancy blue Aston Martin, which was parked there ahead of his arrival. The Twitter user wrote in a now deleted tweet, “@MumbaiPolice Please take strick action on @RanveerOfficial. Insurance Failed car he drove yesterday (sic)!!” Soon after, the social media handle of Mumbai Police responded that the tweet has been forwarded to the concerned department.

Upon fact check, we have confirmed information that Ranveer Singh’s car actually has a valid insurance policy! The latest policy issue date in the document shows the insurance was renewed in July.Here’s the screenshot of the same that we have procured as proof!

Besides the Aston Martin, Ranveer also owns other luxury cars such as Lamborghini Urus, Mercedes-Benz GLS, Jaguar XJ L, Audi Q5, and Land Rover Range Rover Vogue.
