Julia Fox has room for only one child in her life.
The mother of one appeared on “The Drew Barrymore Show” Wednesday and dished on her “overwhelming” relationship with Kanye West — ultimately comparing his neediness to that of a baby.
“My son has to be first. It just became too much, like I didn’t sign up to have two babies, you know?” she explained, shouting out her 2-year-old baby boy, Valentino, whom she shares with ex Peter Artemiev.
Fox admitted she could only date West “for so long” before it became too much.
“Ultimately I think he needed a full-time person and I just couldn’t be full-time. I had my son and then [Kanye would] wanna talk on the phone a lot,” she reflected.
“Like, I’d have to change diapers and so I bought a pair of AirPods so I could keep it in while I was doing mom stuff. It was just — it was so overwhelming and so unsustainable,” the “Uncut Gems” star continued.
“I think I just realized very quickly it just wasn’t gonna be sustainable because ultimately I cannot put anybody else first.”
Fox, 33, and West, 46, dated briefly at the beginning of 2022, following the actress’ split from Artemiev. The latter were married between 2018 and 2020.
Fox and West were first spotted celebrating the New Year together in Miami. Once their relationship was “mysteriously leaked,” as Fox put it, they could not stay clear of the headlines.
Their whirlwind romance has been making headlines once again due to Fox’s brand new memoir, “Down the Drain,” which debuted Oct. 10.
In it, she gives readers a play-by-play of her relationship with the “Donda” artist, from the beginning texts and phone calls that acquainted them to their steamy first meeting.
As West showered her with presents during their fling (and even offered her a breast augmentation), Fox said she often had an uneasy feeling that the father of four was using her as a “publicity stunt.”
This was fueled even more after he gifted her and her friends designer bags for her birthday and asked them to pose with their new accessories as he stood in the background, “looking on with pride.”
She broke up with him the next day.
At the time, a representative for Fox confirmed to Page Six that the pair had split but said they “remain good friends and collaborators.”
Outside of the memoir, the “No Sudden Move” actress has dished on the dirty details of their relationship — or lack thereof — in various interviews.
Speaking to The New York Times in September, Fox revealed “there, like, wasn’t any” sexual encounters with West. “It wasn’t really about that,” she added.
She then told The Los Angeles Times she felt that the Yeezy founder had “weaponized” her.
“I really understood him on a visceral level … But I learned very quickly that I was being weaponized,” she explained. “I just felt like his little puppet.”
She also confirmed she refused to sign an NDA.
“I never have, and I never will,” she stated. ”Unless it’s a professional opportunity, then sure.”
