Fans want to know why Justin and Hailey were so upset during a day out in New York.

Justin Bieber and his fiancée Hailey Baldwin have been spotted breaking down in tears in the middle of New York.

The couple were visibly upset as they rode their bikes around the city, with Hailey seemingly trying her best to comfort her distraught man.

Holding each other’s heads in their hands, Justin, 24, and Hailey, 21, were seen sat on a stone wall, overcome with emotion.

The couple, who had cycled to the West Side of Manhattan, looked to be sharing a heart-rending moment as they wrapped their arms around each other.
At one point, Justin was seen sat on his bike and holding his head in his hands as Hailey stood by his side.

The model – daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin – moved closer to Biebs, who threw his arm around her shoulders.

And in another snap, Justin covers his face with his hands as Hailey stands in front of him.

Fans of the couple had lots of theories about why they were so sad.

Some said the pair had simply been praying and were overcome with emotion, while others said Justin got upset while remembering the time he went on a bike ride with ex Selena Gomez.

Another fan posted a picture that showed Justin and Hailey sat at a table wearing the same clothes and with a Rubik’s Cube in front of him. They quoted a recent interview in which the star said he uses the puzzle toy when he’s feeling anxious.

Some fans posted pictures of themselves posing up with the smiley couple, showing that perhaps there’s nothing to worry about after all.

The pictures come after Justin, who proposed to Hailey while they were on holiday in the Bahamas, shut down a paparazzo who asked if she was pregnant.

Speculation had mounted when Biebs popped the question just a month into their relationship and gushed about starting a “family” with Hailey on Instagram.

But Justin didn’t appreciate a pap asking if Hailey is expecting a baby.

According to Cosmopolitan , Justin snapped back: “What’s your deal, bro? You just seem too like, you just seem too normal to be doing this job… I just don’t understand why you gotta try to get a rise, you know what I’m saying?”
