This isn’t the first time Justin has been accused of being disrespectful towards his wife.

Justin and Hailey Bieber’s relationship has caused controversy many times over the years, but footage showing a cringey interaction between the couple from 2020 has resurfaced, and fans aren’t impressed.

In 2020, the duo celebrated Valentine’s Day by visiting an arcade. A video posted by Hailey during their outing gained widespread attention when online users criticized Justin’s reaction following his defeat to his wife in one of the games.

The video began with Hailey showing off their final scores – she earned 2,050, while Justin had nearly a fraction of that with a score of 500 points.

“I WON. ACCEPT IT,” Hailey captioned the video at the time.

However, judging by the video’s audio, it seems Justin was having a hard time accepting defeat. “Baby, I wasn’t trying!” he said on camera, trying to explain his loss. “I beat you, accept it,” Hailey replied, refusing to accept Justin’s explanation, as she continued to celebrate her victory.

While Hailey may have been able to brush off Justin’s comments, the Internet wasn’t. Hailey’s original video quickly went viral, with many people criticizing how Justin downplayed her victory and felt sorry for himself.

“So not only does Justin slam the door on Hailey as she gets out of the car, he also acts like a raging lunatic when she beats him in an arcade game,” one person tweeted alongside a screengrab Hailey’s video. Other couples could never!”

“Honestly Low-key worried about her. That is not normally healthy behavior over losing an arcade game,” another person said.

“Fragile ego right there. Such a mature gentleman!” one person wrote, while a different one chimed in, “He has some anger issues for sure.”

Justin Has Been Accused Of Disrespecting Hailey Before

Hailey swiftly deleted the video from her account after the backlash began, though she continued to share some other snaps from their arcade date.

However, this isn’t the first time Justin has been accused of having a temper or treating his wife disrespectfully. He’s been accused of slamming doors or screaming at her various times throughout the years.

In 2021, the couple grabbed attention when a video of them surfaced online showing the pair walking through a casino amidst a security entourage. In the fleeting moment captured, Justin can be seen vociferating towards Hailey while making animated gestures with one of his arms. Fans instantly interpreted the video as Justin yelling at Hailey in anger.

Hailey later addressed the controversy by posting a photo of her kissing Justin, with the caption, “Reminiscing on how amazing last weekend was. Had the best time surrounded by so much love. Any other narrative floating around is beyond false. Don’t feed into the negative peeps.”

However, even Justin has alluded to going through a rough patch when they first married in 2018.

“The first year of marriage was really tough because there was a lot, going back to the trauma stuff,” he’s said to GQ. “There was just lack of trust. There was all these things that you don’t want to admit to the person that you’re with, because it’s scary. You don’t want to scare them off by saying, ‘I’m scared.’”

For now, Justin and Hailey are choosing to remain silent about the recently resurfaced footage and all other rumors surrounding their marriage.
