Nicki Minaj’s ‘neighbours’ are allegedly trying to get rid of her and her felon husband Kenneth Petty from their fancy Hidden Hills area due to his previous convictions.

Nicki Minaj’s neighbours are said to be trying to get rid of her and her husband from their fancy A-list area, due to historic charges.

Reports say that some of the rapper’s neighbours are joining forces to get Nicki and her “convicted felon husband”, Kenneth Petty, away from their celebrity-filled neighbourhood.

Kenneth

Nicki’s husband, whom she wed in 2019, is currently serving one year in home detention, with him also sentenced in July 2022 to three years probation.

In 1995, when the now-45-year-old was around 17, Kenneth was convicted in New York for the attempted rɑρe of a 16-year-old girl.
The rapper’s husband was convicted of first-degree rɑρe and served four years in prison.

A Change.org petition has even been created about the Starships singer and her husband, who is also the father to her son, with it garnering more than 1,000 signatures.

Hidden Hills is an affluent city and gated community in the Santa Monica Mountains region of Los Angeles County, California.

With a number of famous faces residing in the neighbourhood of Hidden Hills, it’s a popular place among the likes of Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, and many more.

“Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, have purchased a house in our neighborhood of Hidden Hills,” the petition states.

The petition then goes on to say: “The couple moving in would lead to appraisal value of our homes to go DOWN due to safety concerns.”

TMZ has reported that the petition saw an influx of signatures over the past few days with a reported 500 more people adding their names.

Although the petition is live and has hundreds of signatures, reports say that it is unclear as to how many of Nicki’s actual neighbours have signed their names.

TMZ reported today that the Hidden Hills Community Association had no knowledge of the complaint or of a woman named Beverly Bardan.

Taking to Instagram in December 2018, Nicki addressed her husband’s conviction when she said: “He was 15, she was 16 … in a relationship. But go awf, internet, y’all can’t run my life. y’all can’t even run y’all own life.”
