From Birkin bags to grocery store chic, Kim can do it all.

Kim Kardashian turned heads when she stepped out with a $110,000 Birkin bag multiple times last week, but she made a major style swap on Saturday by toting a Balenciaga grocery bag to the designer’s fall 2024 fashion show in Los Angeles.

The “Kardashians” star, 43, carried her unusual purse — which is a collaboration between the Spanish fashion brand and LA hot-spot grocery story Erewhon — at the request of Balenciaga’s creative director, Demna Gvasalia.

She told WWD, “This is my purse for today, this is what Demna wanted me to carry, a little Erewhon Balenciaga bag with flowers, so I’m going to give him the flowers when it’s done.”

While the reality star’s exact paper bag purse isn’t currently available to purchase online, Balenciaga fans can grab a black nylon reusable grocery tote from the collab for a mere $425.

But if you’re looking to save a few bucks on paper over plastic you may be out of luck as, according to Variety, “one onlooker whispered, ‘I heard the bags are $1,000.’”

Kendall Jenner and Kim Kardashian

Kardashian — who was joined by her sister, Kendall Jenner, 27, at the event — wore a pair of lace-printed Balenciaga pantaleggings with a beige turtleneck and black zip-up hoodie.

She accessorized with shielded sunglasses for the Beverly Hills event.

The Skims founder joined a range of celebs who attended the brand’s show a year after Balenciaga was widely criticized — with Kardashian herself speaking up — following its controversial BDSM-themed campaign.

As for her Birkin bag, Kim stepped out in a series of fur coats and loungewear in New York last week while carrying her enormous gray Haut à courroies bag, a style that retails for $110,000 on the resale market.

Of course, the Skkn by Kim founder is a known Birkin connoisseur, owning an array of pricey Hermès designs including another six-figure style, the rare Himalaya Birkin.

Only time will tell which tote she’ll bring to the grocery story next.
