Selena’s public reaction to the TikTok comes just weeks after she called her and Justin’s breakup “the best thing that ever happened” to her.

Selena Gomez just made her feelings (somewhat cryptically) known on TikTok, hopping into the comments of a post alleging that she was “always skinny” while dating Justin Bieber.

The TikTok in question pairs several photos of Sel, allegedly taken during the time she was dating Justin, with the caption, “The reason why Selena is always skinny when she dates Justin.” The clip then ends with an alleged comment Selena made on what looks to be an old version of Insta in response to a fan, saying, “No love. He’s rather models. I’m just too normal.”

Apparently, Selena came across the video on TikTok and dropped a sad-face emoji in the comments. Some fans took the emoji as confirmation that the TikTok was correct, and others felt it was her being upset about people—once again—speculating about her body.

Selena previously shut down comments about her weight on TikTok, posting a video saying, “So I be trying to stay skinny, but I went to Jack in the Box and I got four tacos, three egg rolls, onion rings, and a spicy chicken sandwich.

But honestly, I don’t care about my weight because people bitch about it anyway. You’re too small. You’re too big. That doesn’t fit. Meh, meh, meh, meh. I am perfect the way I am. Moral of the story? Bye.”
