Adult animation South Park has taken a swipe at former royals Harry and Meghan with a new episode that focusses on the Canadian prince and princess “demanding privacy” across the world.
South Park’s newest episode has caused uproar after the animated show savagely slammed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The Paramount+ show poked fun at the former royals and in one shocking scene, a South Park character was shown farting on Meghan.
South Park never named the characters as Harry and Meghan but there was a striking resemblance – with Harry’s iconic ginger hair and Meghan’s signature style showing recognisable parallels.
The episode began by stating that the “Queen of Canada” had died and the prince and princess attended her funeral.
‘Harry and Meghan’ arrived but were booed by their fellow royals over their treatment of the Canadian monarchy, while one of the family members farted on the princess’ face.
The episode continued by following the couple onto their private jet as they embarked on their “Worldwide Privacy Tour”.
South Park’s gag was an obvious dig at Harry and Meghan, who have received a lot of real life press regarding their Oprah Winfrey interview, their Netflix docuseries and Harry’s new memoir titled Spare.
The animated couple visited locations across the globe while loudly demanding that they wanted “privacy” and asked to be “left alone”.
‘Harry and Meghan’ then eventually settled down in South Park in an attempt to lead a normal life, but the locals are reluctant to welcome them.
The pair have “privacy parties” on their front lawn and later on the prince and princess appear on the TV show Good Morning Canada.
GMC’s presenter hosts the couple and asks whether ‘Harry’ hates journalists, to which he admits he does.
However, the host counteracts his statement by pointing out that he is a journalist himself, as his memoir reports and reveals information about the Canadian royal family.
The tome’s cover is eerily similar to Spare but is savagely titled “Waaagh”.
Canada’s prince and princess then stormed off the show, obviously annoyed by the interview.
To rub salt in the wound, a teaser for the show saw South Park icon Kyle complaining about the prince and princess.
He quipped: “It’s seriously driving me crazy. I’m sick of hearing them but I can’t get away from them, they’re everywhere. In my f***ing face.”
