She’s found The One! Ariana Grande has been known for her public romances over the years but she’s keeping things with husband Dalton Gomez under the radar.

The songstress made their relationship Instagram official in June 2020, but fans kept a close eye on their budding romance for months before that. The couple kept their relationship under wraps during the early days of their love, but that hasn’t stopped them from sharing a few cute, PDA-filled pics together on social media. In fact, Ariana announced their engagement in December 2020 via Instagram.

“Forever [and] then some,” she wrote at the time. Then, her mom, Joan Grande, took to Twitter and confirmed the news. “I am so excited to welcome Dalton Gomez into our family!” she gushed in a tweet. “Ariana, I love you and Dalton so much!!!! Here’s to happily ever after! YAY! xoxoxo.”

It was confirmed that they officially got married in May 2021. “The room was so happy and full of love,” a rep for the songstress confirmed to Us Weekly at the time. “The couple and both families couldn’t be happier.”

Dalton is a Southern California native who works as a buyer’s agent for the Aaron Kirman Group, a luxury real estate agency housed in Los Angeles. Rumors first started swirling that he was connected to Ariana in March 2020, but fans of the “Thank U, Next” musician got a first glimpse at Ariana’s new beau when he appeared in the music video for “Stuck With U” — Ariana’s collaboration with Justin Bieber from May 2020.

While she danced alone for the entire visual, Dalton made his debut right before the video came to an end and Ariana shared a kiss with her man on screen. Dalton, for his part, lives a pretty private life so it’s a big deal when ever they post something together.

While it seems like Ariana is happily in love, it’s safe to say that she has definitely had her fair share of drama when it comes to her past romances. The former Nickelodeon star has experienced pretty public splits over the years. She was briefly engaged to Pete Davidson until the couple called it quits in October 2018.

Other than that, Ariana has been romantically linked to Mac Miller, Graham Phillips, Jai Brooks, Nathan Sykes, Ricky Alvarez and Big Sean, among others in the past.

Before Ariana was a major star, Ariana was romantically linked to her 13: The Musical costar. It’s been reported that they dated for almost three years before calling it quits in 2011. In March 2019, the former flames reunited and were photographed hanging out in New York City.

Jai Brooks

Ariana and Jai started dating in early 2012 and had an online relationship before meeting in person. They first split in 2013 amid cheating rumors but got back together in May 2104, they officially called it quits in August of that same year. It’s unclear where they stand now.3 of 10

Big Sean

Ariana and Big Sean were first spotted smooching in August 2014. They were together for about nine months, before they reportedly called it quits due to their busy schedules. The pair seemed super serious during their time as a couple. They recorded three songs and even walked the 2015 Grammy Awards red carpet together. The former flames still seem like they’re close, and they were even spotted hanging out in February 2019. Ariana sent a major message to her ex in her “Thank U, Next” music video, when she wrote, “So cute, so sweet, could still get it,” next to a photo of him.

Ricky Alvarez

Ricky was one of Ariana’s backup dancers and they dated for a little over a year back in 2015 and 2016.

Fans were shook when photos of the pair spending some time together in New York City hit the web in January 2019. Since then, they’ve been spotted hanging out a few times and Ariana cleared the air regarding romance rumors with an Instagram post, writing, “We’re friends everyone take a big ol’ breather.”

Mac Miller

Ariana and Mac first met when they collaborated on her single, “The Way.” They were friends for years, and eventually started dating. They were together for more than two years before breaking up in 2018. Ariana has since continued to support the late rapper following his September 2018 death.

They were only together for a few weeks in May 2018 before they announced that they were engaged. The whirlwind romance came to an end in October of that same year.

Fans started to speculate that Ari and the Social House singer were dating after they dropped their collaboration, “Boyfriend,” in August 2019. The two singers got pretty cozy during the music video for the song. In September 2019, her brother, Frankie, claimed that the two weren’t dating after all. In a since-deleted tweet, he wrote, “My sister is not in a relationship. Everyone relax. She is very much single.”

Romance rumors between the two started swirling in March 2020. In December of that same year, Ariana announced that they were engaged and the pair tied the knot in May 2021. News of their separation broke in July 2023, revealing that the couple was headed for divorce.
