As it turns out, that wasn’t the only time Grande faced uncertain times in her career.

Ariana Grande Was Living Out Of A Hotel Room While Auditioning For Nickelodeon’s ‘Victorious’

At the age of 14, Ariana alongside her mother packed their bags to LA, hoping she would land a career-changing role on the Nickelodeon show ‘Victorious’. Although she ended up getting the role, nothing was for sure when auditioned. In fact, as Grande revealed alongside Billboard, she stayed at a hotel alongside her mom the entire time while they waited for a response back.

“I was really young. I was 14, but I had never been here until my callback. My mom was like, ‘Do you think you can really do this? We’ll get a place. Should we get an apartment, you think?’ They kept us waiting for a long time,” Grande continued. “There’s a long time between the next callback and the next one, and we were staying at a hotel. … I was like, ‘I hope so, I have no idea.’ And then, thank God, because what if I didn’t get it? And she then was like ‘We have this lease for the next six months!’”

The role would change her career and soon enough, it would open so many new doors, both on TV and in the music world.
Unfortunately, when it comes to her time on ‘Victorious’, fans are typically talking about a certain feud that took place behind the scenes between Grande a certain co-star.

Grande’s Time On The Show Was Remembered For A Feud Alongside Victoria Justice

The 28-year-old has certainly done some growing up since her time on the Nickelodeon show, however, still to this very day, there is chatter pertaining to a rivalry between Ariana Grande and Victoria Justice behind the scenes.

Both have diffused the situation in recent years, with Grande commenting on a Justice IG photo. In addition, Justice would issue a statement, making mention that things were blown up by the media.

“Everyone thought that I was this bully and was mean to her, which couldn’t be further from the truth. Sure we had our differences but everyone in the cast of Victorious was a family and I love them”.

In addition, Victoria revealed alongside E Online that she would be open to a reunion or reboot of sorts in the future.

“I’ve gotten together with the cast and we’ve all hung out and I love them all dearly and so much. I mean, I would be down to do a little something. I don’t know. To be honest, I really don’t know what is going on with all of that. But I love that cast a lot and had so much fun working with them back in the day and, you know, would love to hang out with them again for sure.”
