Video of the dance has already gone viral as Ariana Madix nailed the number, hoping to get Britney Spears’s approval.

Although Spears has yet to comment on Madix’s dance, fans are gushing over the reality star. “Ariana Madix doing original ‘Slave 4 U’ choreo on #DWTS is so f—— major — especially knowing that she’s been such a big Britney fan for so long. Amazing moment. #PumpRules,” one fan wrote on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

Another wrote, “How did Ariana actually morph into Britney Spears tonight? #DWTS.”

Jamie Lynn Spears, Britney’s younger sister, did perform on this year’s season of ‘Dancing With the Stars,’ however she was eliminated early on. It is hard to say if Spears did make it this far if the show would have made her dance to her sister’s iconic song, but regardless, Madix did a stellar job.

Another ‘Dancing With the Stars’ fan took to X writing, “oh she KILLED THIS! the brit choreo?? devoured #DWTS.”

“As soon as I knew there was going to be a ‘Music Video Night,’ it’s like, ‘There’s gotta be Britney representation, right?’ And then you think, ‘Well, who’s going to do Britney?’” the “Vanderpump Rules” star told Page Six after the show.

“And I’m like, ‘It has to me be, please,’ because that is my girl! So I was thrilled.”

In order to nail the choreography, Madix recalled many iconic parts from the 2001 music video.

“I was like, ‘That’s the vibe, that’s the energy,’ and that was it,” she said of preparing for the number. Madix scored the highest of the night, putting her at the top of the leaderboard with a total combined score of 37/40 from judges Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and guest judge Paula Abdul.

“It felt amazing [to hear that feedback]. Cha cha is freaking tough … I might know how to do the [Spears choreography], but if I can’t have decent cha cha technique, they’re gonna see it, they’re gonna call me out,” she added of the judge’s feedback and scores.

“So that was the toughest thing. That was something we worked so hard on. So for them to see that, it was awesome.”
