Beyoncé shared a rare picture with both of her parents, mom Tina and dad Mathew Knowles, on social media as she teased a sneak peek into her birthday celebrations.
The 32-time Grammy winner, who is the most-decorated artist in the awards show’s history, celebrated her 42nd birthday on September 4, and marked the occasion with an intimate family-filled gathering.
Taking to Instagram Monday, the “Alien Superstar” hitmaker shared a series of snapshots from her big day, which she celebrated with her parents, and husband Jay-Z.
In the black and white photo, the mom of three beams from ear to ear as her dad, 71, who also worked as her manager in the past, planted a kiss on her left cheek, while her mother, 69, kissed her right.
The singer’s parents were married from 1980 until their divorce in 2011. They also share daughter Solange, 37.

Beyoncé also posted a photo of her hubby, who grinned while posing with his famous wife in front of a metallic balloon display that read, “Happy Bday.”
Proving that he’s her biggest fan, the “’03 Bonnie & Clyde” hitmaker wore a T-shirt with his wife on it.
Elsewhere, Beyoncé appeared in good spirits as she sipped on several drinks to mark the special day.

“My soul is full. I’m so thankful, I’m trying not to cry. I’m thankful to be alive,” she told the crowd. “I’m thankful to be on stage. I’m thankful to look out and see your faces.”

“I’m thankful to be able to provide a safe space for all of y’all. I’m thankful for music, for the ability to heal myself through music which then heals all of you,” she continued.
“I’m thankful that we all have the ability to make lemonade out of our lemons. I thank you that I’m here at f–king 42. I’m grateful for joy, and I thank God.”
Diana Ross also attended the show and was invited onstage to sing “Happy Birthday” to Queen Bey after a rendition of her 1976 hit “Love Hangover.”
