Pop star Britney Spears is looking to get away for a little while before she makes headlines again later this month.
Her highly anticipated memoir “The Woman In Me” is scheduled to hit bookshelves on October 24, with the Princess of Pop recently teasing that she was already working on part two.

Although she will make headlines later this month following the release of her memoir, “The Woman In Me,” the “Toxic” singer also made headlines earlier this month when her knife dancing video on Instagram went viral and was even parodied by comedian Kathy Griffin.
Sources told TMZ that the “I Wanna Go” singer took a group of friends to the Brando Hotel in French Polynesia this past weekend in order to escape for a little while. She previously shared a video of her riding horses along the beach while teasing part two of her memoir; however, that video has since been deleted.
The tropical destination has been a hotspot for celebrities lately. Beyoncé recently spent her birthday there amid a short break in her “Renaissance” tour and “The Kardashians” reality star Kim Kardashians spent her 40th birthday there with her family and famous friends.

Last weekend, a source told Page Six that the “Overprotected” singer’s memoir will feature “bombshells” about her family life that involve her father, Jamie Spears, her mother, Lynne Spears, and her younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears.
One insider claimed, “You read some of her family history in the book and you think ‘Oh my God, that poor girl.’” They went on to say that reliving her past has “definitely been intense” for the pop star.
“You have to be really patient with somebody telling their story for the first time and not force them. She details her family history, from her grandparents to her parents to why she is the way she is,” the insider divulged.

Many fans are wondering if the memoir’s release will cause additional tension in an already strained relationship. The source said that they “don’t think” that Lynne or Jamie Lynn “will be upset” by the memoir, adding, “I think they will think it’s fair.”
However, a source for Jamie Spears ventured, “It’s going to be really interesting to read the book. I’m not sure how the publishers could even fact-check most of it. Britney has been seriously unwell in the past.”
Britney’s conservatorship, which started in February 2008 and ended in November 2021, will also be discussed at length in her memoir. “Every huge sensationalized headline is all in there,” the insider claimed. “There are a few bombshells, and you will have empathy for Britney. it’s Britney telling her story, without handlers, totally unfiltered — the good, the bad and the ugly.”
Britney Spears’ Father Jamie Spears Hospitalized, ‘Severely Ill’
On Thursday night, a source told Page Six that the pop star’s 71-year-old father was “severely ill” and spending time in the hospital following yet another health scare. “Jamie has been suffering with a bad infection that has required surgery,” a source told the outlet. “He has been hospitalized for weeks in a special infectious disease facility.”
In August, TMZ reported that Jamie Spears had been hospitalized “several months ago” to deal with an infection that resulted from a knee replacement that he had done over a decade ago.
At the time, sources told the outlet that Britney’s father was looking “extremely thin” after he “lost more than 25 pounds” while “in and out” of medical care. Although there were rumors that the “Piece Of Me” singer was looking to make amends with her father amid his latest health scare, a source told Page Six in August that “Britney is on a healing journey, but a reconciliation with Jamie is not in the cards.”
Britney’s memoir “The Woman In Me” is scheduled for release on Tuesday, October 24.
