Britney Spears briefly turned her Instagram comments on before turning them back off.
The princess of pop, 42, has previously had her Instagram comments turned off before she briefly had them on again on Tuesday.
Fans took to the comments immediately to express their worry for her before she turned the feature off again.
The star has over 42 million Instagram followers, with her primary content being dance videos or lengthy captions commenting on news involving herself.
One fan wrote: ‘She hasn’t had comments on ever. Wonder what’s going on.’
Another said: ‘What did they do to you?’ while a fan simply shared their support: ‘We love you Brit, we just want you well.’
‘I see why you turned off the comments. Send love or move on. It’s really not that hard. People have feelings in case you didn’t know,’ one fan wrote.
Earlier in the day, Britney shared a throwback photo of her burnt down home gym – three years after accidentally setting the room on fire with two candles left on.
‘Reflecting back remembering when I burnt the gym down in 2020.
Back in April 2020 Spears revealed that she burned down her home gym.
‘It was an accident… but yes… I burnt it down,’ Britney captioned a video of her workout tutorial on Wednesday. ‘I walked past the door to the gym and flames… BOOM!!!!’
The singer added that ‘by the Grace of God the alarm went off’ and nobody got hurt during the serious incident.
The Toxic hitmaker also explained the ordeal at the beginning of her work out video saying, ‘Hi guys, I’m in my gym right now. I haven’t been in here for like six months because I burnt my gym down. Unfortunately.’
‘I had two candles, and, yeah, one thing lead to another, and I burnt it down. So, I’m in here and we only have two pieces of equipment left, and I’m going to show you what I do during this time.’
This comes after Spears filmed herself flipping the bird as she made another cheeky dig after throwing shade at her ex-boyfriend Timberlake.
The singer once again flaunted her dance moves on her Instagram page, as she shared a new video on Tuesday morning.
Britney flaunted her athletic figure in a red off the shoulder mini dress, which she styled with a red top hat and a pair of black heels.
Britney captioned the clip: ‘When that bird comes up well… are you guessing revelations? You know! P.s. hands on hips honestly! Sorry in advance!
It comes after Britney failed to hold back as she reacted to Justin Timberlake ‘s performance of his diss track, Cry Me A River, about their painful breakup.
He performed the song at the opening of the Fontainebleau Hotel. The hotel opened December 13.
Despite recently revealing that the song, released in 2002 following the end of their three-year relationship, ‘shattered’ her heart in memoir, The Woman in Me, the former NSYNC frontman, 42, surprised audiences by crooning the spiteful ballad about an unfaithful lover.
While acknowledging the controversial choice to put the song on his show’s setlist at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas , the singer prefaced his performance by saying he meant ‘no disrespect,’ presumably toward Spears.
In response, the mother-of-two took to Instagram to dredge up some past memories with the 10-time Grammy winner, which depicted him as a sore loser and mediocre athlete.
‘I never mentioned how I beat him in basketball,’ she wrote on Instagram, before recalling how ‘he would cry’ when he would lose games to her.
While she did no explicitly say she was referring to Timberlake, the performer ended her lengthy caption by saying ‘no disrespect,’ the same phrase he said while on stage earlier this week.
Spears previously claimed in her book that the track left her looking like a ‘harlot who’d broken the heart of America’s golden boy.’
Britney recently reflected on her life – via her Instagram – following her split from husband Sam Asghari.
Britney, 42, and Sam, 29, were together for six years before tying the knot in June 2022, so this is the first time she’s been on her own since the controversial conservatorship she was subjected to from 2008 to November 2021.
‘It’s so weird being single,’ the Toxic singer wrote.
