Cinnamon, a 7-year-old brown pit bull, had tears welling up in her eyes after being left at a shelter. A worker with Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Control named Sarah Jennings Sleime stumbled upon a dejected dog who had just given birth to a litter of pups that had been stolen from her.

Said Sarah

“Someone left this poor mother in the shelter with nothing but her children. Her eyes began to tear up every time I stopped to speak to her and apologize (check out the reaction at 0:13). Piercing!”.

Over 1,500 others have shared Cinnamon’s predicament. Sarah posted a video of herself on social media in the hopes that after viewing it, a recognized rescue group, her family, friends, or online acquaintances will come to her aid.

She is quite sweet, too. She quietly waited for them to attach her leash and wag her tail as a volunteer came to take her for a stroll.

Cinnamon fortunately did not have to wait much longer since a kind family chose to give her another opportunity and she will never experience sadness again.
