Lynne Spears is suing a ‘phony publicist’ and has applied for a restraining order after he allegedly infiltrated her tight inner circle to befriend and take advantage of daughter Britney Spears, DailyMail.com can reveal.
The bombshell lawsuit was filed last month against Jacob Diamond, a self-proclaimed author, actor and publicist, who was exposed for pretending to be close to the likes of Khloe Kardashian, Lisa Rinna and Paris Hilton.
The suit, filed in District Court in Amite, Louisiana, by Lynne, 68, and her friends Jansen Fitz, 40, and Tatum Solis, 48, alleges that they met Diamond in 2019 and he tricked his way into their ‘small social circle’ for the next ‘three years or so’.
The suit says that in July 2023, Diamond ‘began to act erratically and aggressively’ to them and their young kids and in one instance they threatened to call the police ‘to have him forcefully removed from their family home.’
Since then, they claim Diamond, 41, has published posts on social media, which paint them in an ‘excessively negative light’ and they now ‘fear for their safety.’

Lynne claims that she and Diamond met in 2019 and he tricked his way into their ‘small social circle’ in order to get close to her daughter Britney Spears
The suit adds that Diamond posted a photo of Lynne, Solis, Fitz and three others at dinner within hours of the lawsuit being filed and ‘specifically refers to that occasion as “Satan’s dinner” and, at the conclusion of the post adds ‘he was there that night too, brewing a deadly result”.’
The post remains on Diamond’s Instagram page but without the caption, although fans had already screenshot it, with it reading: ‘The night the dominos began to fall. The night life as I knew it, changed forever. Each woman in this picture turned on me.’
The suit says that in July 2023, Diamond ‘began to act erratically and aggressively’ toward Lynne and her friends
Spears, Solis and Fitz were successful in obtaining a temporary restraining order from ‘harassing, stalking, communicating’ and ‘preventing any harm or injury’ to the plaintiffs, which stops Diamond from coming within 100 yards of them and their homes.
The suit goes on to say that Diamond’s true intention was to get to Britney, 41.
They say Diamond – who describes himself as ‘boy band member turned actor turned author’ on his LinkedIn page – wanted to ‘infiltrate’ their social circle ‘in an effort to, or in the hope that he would be able to establish a person (sic) relationship with one of the plaintiff’s daughters.’
That daughter is understood to be Britney although she is not named in the lawsuit.
They say he wanted to ‘obtain at least a small amount of notoriety and/or fame’.
‘Plaintiffs further aver that the defendant was also motivated by the possibility or prospect of some monetary gain were he able to develop the personal relationship referenced above.’
The lawsuit goes on to say that Diamond has been using their ‘name and images’ without consent on social media with posts having become ‘more aggressive, demeaning and defamatory.’
The restraining order also banned him from posting anything derogatory about them or suggesting he has a relationship with them, while all photos he didn’t own should be pulled down.
The suit states that Diamond posted a group photo within hours of the lawsuit being filed and ‘specifically refers to that occasion as ”Satan’s dinner” and, at the conclusion of the post suggests that ”[Satan] was there that night too, brewing a deadly result”.’ He deleted the caption but the photo remains

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help pay Diamond’s attorney fees, which has so far raised just $510 of a $5,000 target
Despite the order, Diamond’s partner Derek Larabell has set up a GoFundMe page to help pay his attorney fees, which has so far raised just $510 of a $5,000 target.
He makes some wild claims regarding Lynne and her friends, and also claimed Caitlyn Jenner’s lawyer reached out to Diamond to personally work on the case for free.
It says: ‘A big law firm in Los Angeles that represents Caitlyn Jenner and other celebrities, heard about his case and reached out to work with him for free. They did a ton of work on his case, but aren’t able to practice law in Louisiana and represent him.
‘We found a high powered lawyer in Baton Rouge who has been in multiple Netflix documentaries, and would also represent him. He jumped at the chance to speak with the media about Jacob’s case and go up against Lynne Spears, Tatum Solis, and Jansen Fitz.
‘So many of us worked so hard to #freeBritney and help give her, her voice back. I am asking for your help in making sure Jacob is not permanently silenced as well. If you can donate $20 or $10 or $5 it would mean the world to us… so Jacob can represent himself in court against Lynne Spears’ attorney.’

The case will be heard on Monday when a judge will decide if the restraining order will be made permanent.
Diamond’s Instagram is full of photos of him with Lynne including one in her home by the fireplace, captioned: ‘Britney/Lynne’s beautiful English cobblestone fireplace at Serenity, the estate Britney built for Lynne in 2001 in Kentwood, LA.’
Yet Diamond has been accused of being a ‘phony publicist’ after a 2019 expose by Page Six.
He claimed that a string of A-listers were turning up to the launch of his self-published book ‘Sunny Collins: Sex in the Garden of Fame and Fortune’. He also lied about a gourmet spread being put on by chef Wolfgang Puck and it being sponsored by Amazon.
All the big names denied ever agreeing to attend the alleged mega-party – or even knowing who he was – which Page Six dubbed as the ‘Fyre Festival of book releases.’
The new lawsuit comes weeks after Lynne denied selling her daughter’s belongings after fans accused the mother-of-free of profiting from memorabilia belonging to Britney.
‘I’m not sure who told you I got rid of your dolls and journals but I would never do that!’ Lynne told Britney in an Instagram post.
She continued: ‘That would be cruel because I know how much they mean to you. They are special to me too because of the years we spent collecting them.’
