Other nominees included Into the Unknown from Frozen II, Stand Up from Harriet and Beautiful Ghosts from Cats, for which pal Taylor Swift was nominated.

Spirit was featured on The Lion King’s soundtrack, as well as The Lion King: The Gift, which she curated.

Mrs. Carter was previously nominated in the same category in 2008 for Once In a Lifetime from Cadillac Records and in 2006 for Listen from Dreamgirls, which also saw her nominated for Best Actress – Motion Picture Comedy or Musical.
