Miley Cyrus blessed her 214 million Instagram followers with two grainy, artsy new photos that showcased an elegant and sleek outfit— composed of a black gown, matching heels and sunglasses. The “Used To Be Young” singer, 30, donned a curve-hugging dress that featured an eye-catching, asymmetrical neckline, intricate wrapped sleeve details and a timelessly chic, floor-length hemline.
Cyrus uploaded the two shots in a September 20th photo collection post, and quoted her hit song, “Flowers,” in the caption. “I CAN BUY MYSELF FLOWERS,” she wrote. Fans headed to her comment section to not only hype up her look, but also ask her about a rumor circling online that claimed that she might have been the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show performer. Now, it has been revealed that Usher will take the iconic slot next year.

To dazzle up her ensemble even more, Cyrus added shiny, dainty earrings and wore her signature dirty blonde tresses in a glamorous updo. She posed for the photos beside blooming pink roses in a gorgeous garden. “She looks so pretty,” one fan wrote as another added: “BREATHTAKING.” Others conveyed their thoughts with heart-eyes and red heart emojis. “This girl is on fire,” another chimed in.
Many also asked Cyrus about the viral rumors (that originated on X, formerly Twitter, back in June) that suggested that Cyrus was in the running for being selected as the Halftime Show performer for the February 11th Super Bowl LVIII game at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
“ANNOUNCE THAT UR PERFORMING AT THE SUPER BOWL,” one fan commented as another replied: “Don’t decline the damn super bowl offer.” Someone else guessed: “Halftime announcement is comingggg” as one other wrote: “superbowl!!!!!?!??”

In June 2023, popular account Pop Tingz wrote on X: “Miley Cyrus is rumored to be in talks to perform at the upcoming SuperBowl halftime show.” While this has yet to be confirmed or denied by Cyrus, fans can’t get enough of the idea.
Other rumors also have been swirling on social media, claiming that Cyrus denied the chance to play at the Super Bowl. Still, Cyrus has yet to officially speak out on any of this.
Cyrus has been impressing fans with her recent successes. The Grammy winner’s eighth studio album, Endless Summer Vacation, has topped the charts this year, showcasing a blend of heartfelt lyrics and infectious melodies.
Furthermore, her music videos have been featuring jaw-dropping style moments that captivate audiences. All in all, Cyrus is certainly on top of her game— which is why many might have thought of her as an ideal Halftime Show performer.

Back in May of this year, however, Cyrus explained to fans that she would not be touring anytime soon in support of her new record. At the time, she explained on Instagram that while she loves and is very grateful for her fans, tour life can take a toll on her mental health, daily routine and style.
She noted that she doesn’t “want to get ready in a locker room,” which she deemed a “reality of life on the road.” She also acknowledged her epic outfits lately, and how many of them wouldn’t fare well in a tour bus or on the road. “These looks I’ve been turnin don’t travel well. The archival looks don’t fold. I just don’t want to sleep on a moving bus,” she continued in her statement at the time.
But could Cyrus fit in just one show for a certain special NFL game… and possibly one of the biggest of her career in the future? We’ll have to see but our fingers are crossed that one day she can!
