There’s nothing chicer than an LBD.

Miley Cyrus staged an intimate performance for friends and family at Chateau Marmot in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, singing her own hit songs, some classic covers and even new music in a chic little black dress.

The star, who celebrates her 31st birthday on Thursday, chose a mini version of a sheer tulle black bustier dress from Dolce & Gabbana’s fall/winter ’23 runway show, accessorizing with opera-length gloves.

She pulled her newly brunette hair back into a slick bun and threw on a cropped tuxedo blazer and a leopard purse ($745), both from the same brand, and Versace sunglasses ($345 $241) for photos posted to her Instagram.

“My birthday gift to MYSELF this year was VERY on brand. I performed for MYSELF and sang my favorite songs including my own,” Cyrus captioned snaps on Instagram.

“First ‘live’ performance of Flowers was to an audience full of my friends and family. Taking this song back to the seed… she sprouted sensationally. Grateful for the growth in us both,” she added, referring to her hit breakup song about ex-husband Liam Hemsworth.

Fans were shocked when clips of her performance went viral on Twitter, especially hearing snippets of unreleased songs that the former Disney star will perhaps release in the months to come, including a new ballad that the star serenaded guests with at mom Trish Cyrus’ wedding to Dominic Purcell in August.

“Vocals! Love seeing you shine in your element,” one commented on Instagram. Another wrote, “VACATION OVER NOW MOTHER! ANNOUNCE THE TOUR,” alluding to the hiatus Cyrus has taken from touring as she said it wasn’t “healthy” for her.

Vanessa Hudgens said, “Cutie angel. I love this all for u. Happy birthday love.”

Sister Brandi Cyrus wrote that her younger sibling is “THRIVING.”

It’s unclear exactly who was on the guest list for the sultry performance, though Cyrus did perform a duet with Ryan Beatty and boyfriend Maxx Morando was in the crowd.

One person who was likely not in attendance was younger sister Noah Cyrus, who dropped a shady comment on a years-old video of Miley last month in the wake of Tish’s divorce from dad Billy Ray Cyrus.

Noah and older brother Braison were both notably absent from Tish’s Malibu nuptials.
