She’s illustrious for her flamboyant sense of style and her dare to be different attitude.

And Miley Cyrus has ensured both of those aspects are prevalent in her new Wonderland magazine shoot as the 25-year-old beauty rocks a series of theatrical, pink looks while also opening up about her raunchy performance with Robin Thicke at the 2013 VMAs performance.

The Malibu singer – who has landed the cover girl spot for the mag’s Spring 2018 issue – styles herself for the magazine, fusing old Hollywood glamour with the endless sparkle of a showgirl.

Dare to bare: Miley Cyrus rocks a series of theatrical, pink looks while also opening up about how she is constantly evolving as a person in her latest shoot with Wonderland magazine

One image from the shoot – which is the work of celebrated German photographer Ellen von Unwerth – depicts a champagne-sipping Miley flaunt her toned torso in a pink two-piece which is embellished with sequins and frills.

Other snaps show the Wrecking Ball hitmaker demonstrate her flexibility as she kicks her lean leg high into the air while wearing a glamorous ruffled gown.

More provocative pictures show Miley clad in a silk slip dress, with one shoulder left to fall freely down her arm, revealing a hint of her bust.

But it isn’t only the images that successfully capture the American star’s vivacious personality as she also speaks about her now iconic VMAs performance, which saw her gyrate and grind against Robin.

‘It changed my career’: Miley also opened up about her raunchy performance with Robin Thicke at the 2013 VMAs performance

She confesses: ‘Not only was culture changed, but my life and career were changed forever.

‘It inspired me to use my platform for something much bigger. If the world is going to focus on me and what I am doing, then what I am doing should be impactful and it should be great.’

The American singer continues: ‘It encouraged me to be more involved, which then led me to start my own organisation, which is the Happy Hippie Foundation. It’s dedicated to fighting injustice for vulnerable populations.’

Miley also opens up about her positive outlook on life, and more specifically her ‘B***h is back’ hashtag.

She explains: ‘#B***hIsBack is really about my attitude and feeling really confident and positive where I’m at in my life.

‘I say this regularly — who I am is always changing, but I feel more myself than ever.’

She adds: ‘I’m really looking forward to all these different projects I have going on this year, and not just musically.

‘Getting to design has always been a dream since my style is such an important part of what I represent. You can always tell where my head and heart is at — because I am likely wearing it. ‘

Being in such a good place has even seen the star put the brakes on her acting career for the time-being, as she confesses: ‘I get really deep into the characters I play, just like I do with music.

‘So then in becomes hard for me to relate — even to my family and friends — I’m so deep into that character. So, for right now, I am so content with where I am, being someone else doesn’t sound that fun to me.

Miley – who boasts 74.5 million followers on Instagram and 39.7 million followers on Twitter – also opens up about the highs and lows of social media.

She confesses: ‘I’ve always had a really great relationship with my fans which is why I think they’ve been so loyal throughout out my career.

‘By being so young when I started, I’ve always had the luxury of social media which allowed me to be so close to my fans.’

Admitting that not everyday is quite so peachy, the star reveals that trolls can sometimes be hard to handle.

She explains: ‘It hasn’t always been easy because the people who love you are closer to you, but so are the ones who don’t.

‘They equally have the freedom of speech, though the latter is sometimes hard to hear.’
