Miley Cyrus was spotted out for the first time on Monday, September 2, after she begged a court for a restraining order against an alleged stalked who has made threats against her life.
In photos published by Daily Mail, Miley was seen in downtown Los Angeles leaving health food store Erewhon. The pictures showed the musician talking to a friend outside of the grocery store, while holding a drink and snacks in her hand.
Miley was sporting a new hairstyle for the casual occasion. She appears to have recently traded in her light blonde locks for a warm, dark color, which is reminiscent of her days as a Disney star. Miley wore her hair in loose waves, while she shielded her eyes with a pair of black sunglasses.
The singer kept casual in loose-fitting jeans, a white t-shirt, and a long black cardigan, which matched her dark sneakers and leather bag.
Miley’s Stalker Sent Her A Letter In Jail Threating To Come To Her House
Via InstarMiley appeared to be in relatively good spirits despite what she’s been going through in her personal life. Last week, TMZ reported that a court had granted Miley a temporary restraining order after a man who is so obsessed with her showed up at Miley’s California home mere days after being released from prison for stalking her.
According to legal documents obtained by the publication, the singer filed for a temporary restraining order against a 52-year-old man, Alexander Kardalian, after he obsessively stalked her for years. Miley alleges that this individual has flooded her mailbox with persistent letters dating back to 2018, often filled with requests for money and explicit comments expressing his desire for her.
The court filing revealed that Kardalian appeared at Miley’s Los Angeles residence on two separate occasions in 2022 and was subsequently removed.
He was subsequently apprehended in December 2022 and incarcerated at San Quentin State Prison until this past August. Shortly after his release, Kardalian once again turned up at the vocalist’s property.
Kardalian allegedly sent Miley a letter while he was still in prison, expressing his intention to visit her home (and he clearly followed through on this threat). Fortunately, her security team intervened and promptly contacted the police. But rather than arresting him, law enforcement merely instructed him to leave and warned him of potential arrest should he return.
Miley Is Fearing For Her And Her Loved Ones’ Safety
via InstarPerhaps even more bizarre, Miley’s legal team claims they’ve since discovered Kardalian has been using her address for his health insurance. He’s apparently also written her letters expressing a desire to take his life.
It’s believed that Kardalian is suffering from mental health challenges, Miley’s court filing expresses. It concluded by saying the singer is scared for her life as well as that of her family and boyfriend, Maxx Morando.
The restraining order has been granted temporarily, and forbids Kardalian to contacting Miley, including attending public events like concerts. He has to stay 100 yards away from any place the singer is located. If Kardalian doesn’t comply, he’ll likely be arrested again.
