Sam Asghari isn’t ready to dip back into the dating pool just yet.
Following his and Britney Spears’ decision to divorce, the personal trainer-turned-actor told TMZ Thursday that he is focused on working out and locking down new roles.
“That’s what I’m doing. I’m putting a lot of work in stunt training and a lot of acting,” he told the outlet.
“I’ve been great.”
Asghari, 29, also shared that he is “very proud” of the “Gimme More” singer, 41, for penning her forthcoming tell-all memoir, “The Woman in Me.”
“She put a lot of work to it, and it was very hard,” he said.
“I’m definitely excited, and I’m extremely proud of her. It was a very tough one [to write].”
The fitness model also claimed he has already read Spears’ highly anticipated tome and has no concerns about its contents regarding their 14-month marriage. (However, the pop star has teased that she is already working on a second installment.)

Asghari filed for divorce from Spears in August. He “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split and asked for the Grammy winner to pay spousal support and his attorneys’ fees.
Spears and Asghari wed in June 2022 at her California estate after nearly six years together.
Although the former couple had an ironclad prenup in place, Asghari’s attorney hinted that he could contest the contract.
He also said that he’s not worried about the contents of the pop star’s forthcoming memoir because he’s already read it.samasghari/Instagram

Asghari and his lawyer Neal Hersh’s apparent motives became known shortly after a source told Page Six exclusively that the Iran native wanted to renegotiate their prenup in return for keeping Spears’ secrets.
The source told us that Asghari was “attempting to negotiate concessions beyond his prenup and threatening to go public with extraordinarily embarrassing information about Britney unless he gets paid.”
The divorce hasn’t appeared to put a damper on the “Crossroads” star’s life in the slightest, as Page Six exclusively revealed that she flew to New York City on Wednesday in anticipation of her tome’s release.

Upon landing in the Big Apple, Spears made her way to members-only club Zero Bond, where she ended up having an impromptu dinner with J Balvin and Maluma.
“The guys flagged her down, and she and her group joined them,” our insider shared.
“Everyone was in good spirits. Britney was all smiles and so happy to be back in New York for the first time in a while.”
