Nickelodeon actress, Jamie Lynn Spears, is preparing to enter the jungle in the aftermath of her elder sister Britney’s explosive memoir.

Branded a ‘total b****’ by the Hit Me Baby One More Time singer, Jamie Lynn will no doubt be anxious to set the record straight.  

Best known for appearing in squeaky clean Nickelodeon’s series Zoey 101 she went on to cause headlines after falling pregnant at the age of just 17.  

Now the mother-of-two who is estranged from her famous sibling, is joining jungle campmates including This Morning’s Josie Gibson, controversial polictian Nigel Farage and MIC’s Sam Thompson

Who is I’m A Celeb’s Jamie Lynn Spears?

Jamie Lynn Spears, 32, is 10 years younger than her famous sister and was raised alongside her siblings, including brother Bryan in Kentwood, Louisiana.

Following in Britney’s footsteps her acting debut in the 2002 film Crossroads, appearing as the younger version of sister’s character, Lucy Wagner.

She then went on to land her own show on Nickelodeon called Zoey 101 in 2005 aged just 15.

In her memoir The Woman In Me Britney, 41, called Jamie Lynn a ‘total b**ch’ — even though she was describing her sister when she was just 11 years old.

The Toxic hitmaker recalled being fed up with her sister’s allegedly terrible behaviour when she returned home from her tour in 2002.

She and the child’s father Casey Aldridge split when their daughter Maddie was 19 months old.

The show wrapped in 2008 after four seasons and after taking a break to raise her daughter Jamie Lynn returned to acting.

Appearing in a Netflix’s Steel Magnolias, a 2023 reboot of Zoey 101 entitled Zoey 102 and an strutted her stuff on Dancing With The Stars where she was eliminated second.

She also appeared on Britney’s eight album, Britney Jean, on a song titled Chillin’ With You.

She also had quite the country music career between 2011 and 2017, where her debuted her EP The Journey, which placed number five on the Billboard’s Heatseekers Albums Chart.

Is Jamie Lynn Spears married? 

The Southern belle later met her communications entrepreneur husband Jamie in 2011, and the pair tied the knot three years later in 2014.

They share a child together named Ivey, who they welcomed into the world in 2018, as well as Maddie, now 15.

The actress has also written her own autobiography called Things I Should Have Said, accounting her life and childhood with her superstar sister.

According to Capital, Spears’ net worth sits at around $6 million, after raking up the dough during her entertainment career, with the help of other properties and investments.

In her memoir the songstress lambasted Jamie Lynn’s behaviour at their family home due to her poor treatment of their mother, who was struggling in the wake of her split.

Britney wrote that she arrived home from tour to discover that 11-year-old Jamie Lynn  ‘ruled’ their home adding how she felt ‘betrayed’ by how her little sister had ‘changed’ while she was away.

Britney also said she is ‘working to feel more compassion’ towards her sibling after they feuded for years.

Claiming in her tell-all tome that Jamie Lynn  told her to ‘stop fighting’ her controversial conservatorship which ran from 2008-2021

It came after many Britney fans called on viewers to avoid watching the Zoey 101 reboot entirely after singer claimed her younger sibling did not support her bid to leave her controversial conservatorship. 

Jamie Lynn soon came forward to refute her sister’s claims via Instagram stories in 2021.

Telling her following of 2 million: ‘Maybe I didn’t support her the way the public would like me to, with a hashtag on a public platform.

‘But I can assure you that I’ve supported my sister long before there was a hashtag, and I’ll support her long after.
