In the podcast, Josh Horowitz asked David Harbour about his experience taking his daughters to an early screening of Marvel’s recent release, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3. The host further asked him if it earned any “brownie points” with his daughters. The Violent Night actor responded that he got more when he took them to Taylor Swift’s live concert.
Harbour pulled some strings to get a VIP tent at US Bank Stadium in Minnesota, one of the venues for the concerts. The Suicide Squad actor shared his excitement about visiting Minneapolis for the show. Harbour described Minneapolis as a music town where people actually enjoyed the concert rather than just attending for Instagram photo uploads.
The 48-year-old actor tried to arrange a meeting between his daughters and the All Too Well singer, but the latter had a busy schedule running her most expansive concert tour. However, Taylor Swift sent them a handwritten note with heartfelt words for Harbour’s daughters.

David Harbour did not disclose the exact contents of the handwritten note in the podcast. However, the Quantum of Solace actor said that his daughters were left speechless by the singer’s gesture. Swift also promised to send a wave in his daughter’s direction during the concert which lasted more than three hours, and she kept her promise.
Harbour was really impressed by Taylor Swift’s performance as well as her kindness. The We Have A Ghost actor admitted that he was not much of a Taylor Swift fan, but now that he has witnessed her perform 45 songs at a single event, he has nothing but the utmost admiration for the Anti-Hero singer. Harbour shared:
“I didn’t really have any idea, it’s not really my … my thing was Madonna. I saw Madonna concerts, I saw Guns N’ Roses concerts. Seeing her perform for three-and-a-half hours, that’s like 45 songs. She barely leaves the stage, I don’t know when she pees. It’s ridiculous — she’s a force of nature.”
Fans are eagerly waiting to see what unfolds for David Harbour’s character Jim Hopper in the fifth and final season of Stranger Things. The four seasons of the show are available for streaming on Netflix.
