Taylor Swift was forced to show off her sprinting skills following a mishap during her Eras Tour show at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Friday.

The pop superstar had just finished a song on the extended part of the stage, and was waiting for a secret platform on the floor to open and lower her to the backstage area.

When the panel failed to activate in the normal amount of time, Swift took quick action and decided to make a run to the back of her main stage.

Some fans captured the moment on camera, and it’s since gone viral on social media.

In the clip, Swift can be seen putting on a burst of speed to run past her dancers during the show, seemingly out of fear she would be late for a quick change.

The Look What You Made Me Do singer stood motionless, as her backup dancers walked towards the main stage, in the moments after the song ended.

Dressed in a one-legged, black-patterned bodysuit, heeled boots and fishnet stockings during that part of the show, Swift waited for about five seconds for that floor panel to activate.

Then she made her mad dash along the extended part of the stage, past the dancers, to the back area.

In the end the All Too Well star didn’t have anything to fear because the panel started to open moments after she made a run for it.

Even fans pointed out that the door started to work again in the comment section of the TikTok video.

‘Run (Taylor’s version),’ one fan commented, while another joked that they ‘love’ the ‘errors tour.’

Another person commented on her thought process, writing, ‘I love how she first goes for a strut and then realized she has to full blown sprint,” another noticed.

Then there were others who praised her for being ‘dedicated’ to keeping the show on schedule by running to the back area in her heels.

‘This gets funnier the more you watch it,’ someone else added.

‘Imagine being the people under the stage waiting to help her quick change and the platform comes down and she’s just vanished,’ another Swiftie shared of the situation.

There would be more drama for the singer-songwriter, ahead of her second show at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati on Saturday, July 1.

Earlier in the day, when word got out of potential inclement weather on the horizon, Swift decided she would still push on with the show, but get started sooner than normal.

‘Hey Cincinnati – Alas we’ve got another weather situation but this just means I get to see you sooner!’ she shared on her Twitter page, in the hours ahead of show time, adding, ”I’ll be going on an hour early at 7pm – we’ll open doors at 4:30. See you then!’

The Lover is nearly four months into her Eras tour, which kicked off in March 17 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
