Taylor Swift has been knocked off the top of the Australian music charts – by Barbie.
The American pop star has been dominating the ARIA charts for weeks, but has been pushed out of the prime spots by songs from the Barbie movie soundtrack.
Billie Eilish’s ballad What Am I Made For? has flown up to number two, while Barbie World by Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice has taken the number three spot.
Dua Lipa’s Dance The Night, also from Barbie The Album, has taken the number six position.
Taylor’s latest album release, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) debuted at number one on the ARIA charts this month, pushing her earlier record, Midnights, off the position.

According to ARIA, Taylor is the first artist to achieve this honour since the ARIA Charts began in 1983.
Taylor had in fact broken another record by taking up the entire top five, with Speak Now, Midnights, Lover, 1989 and Reputation rounding out the rest of the chart.
Close after were Folklore and Red (Taylor’s Version), with the pop star completely dominating the top ten, until Barbie mania hit.
