Considering how much energy raising a child demands, I can’t really comprehend how parents of twins manage.

Not that having two happy little bundles of joy at the same time isn’t an incredible feeling, but multiplying that by the number of sleepless nights I experienced and the requirement for constant risk-management vigilance, the math just doesn’t add up in my mind.

Nevertheless, if you speak to any parent of twins, they’ll probably tell you about double the love rather than twice the hardship.

You can call it four times the love in the case of one lucky Louisiana couple.

Now, considering how many infants are born every day throughout the world, having twins is rather uncommon. But two sets of twins from the same couple? That is practically unheard of, my friends.

But for Erin and Jake Credo, that’s the truth.

The couple reportedly needed some assistance to conceive six years ago, but when they did, they gave birth to twin boys, Cooper and Grant.

They weren’t sure if they would have more children, but fate, as is so frequently the case, had great ideas for them.

The couple wasn’t planning to conceive again on their own, because they’d needed some help to become pregnant with Cooper and Grant.

Still, they did.

Furthermore, the initial ultrasonography showed that Erin was carrying a second set of twins. When Erin emailed Jake the picture, he thought she had sent him a picture from Cooper and Grant’s sonogram from years ago because he was so puzzled.

She merely said, “Nope.” Phase two.

Erin clarified to Today, saying, “I didn’t want to go through that again, so we weren’t sure if we should have kids. I never in a million years imagined having four children. I’m still in shock about this.

“I didn’t even know what to say when I had my ultrasound,” the woman continued. When I texted my husband a picture of the ultrasound, he said, “Is that the boys?”

“He exclaimed, ‘Oh my God.'” It’s clear that we were thrilled. We’ve already completed it. All we know is that we are twin parents.

Dr. Cliff Moore, who managed Erin’s pregnancy, noted that their case is extremely unusual, stating that only roughly 1 in 111,111 pregnancies end in a second set of identical twins.

“To put that into perspective, we would only see that roughly once every 15 years at Woman’s Hospital, where we deliver about 8,000 babies annually.”

On September 22, 2020, Erin and Jake welcomed their newborn girls into the world. The girls are Lola and Allie, identical twins. After spending a few days in the NICU after their 32-week birth, the sisters were eventually allowed to return home and meet their older brothers.

Grant and Cooper are constantly cuddling. Grant dozed off in our bed the other day, and Cooper kissed him on the forehead,” Erin remarked.

“Identical twins have a bond unlike any other connection.”

This family has truly been blessed in every way, which makes me very glad for them!
