Intro

They are considered to be the shortest people in this area, starting from the father up to the last born.
They all have the same short stature and this is a big problem to their life because it has blocked some of the opportunities, plus daily bullying, making their life worse.

Meet this short family Devo is the father to all of these.
He says he was born in 1960.. to him he was born and found himself with this shortness and from there life has always been difficult due to the way he was always regarded as a weak and inferior person, all because of a short stature.

Had he found himself tall, he would have had a better life with too many life opportunities, but as long as he had nothing to change, he had to only accept the way he was born and move on.
It took Dale a long time for him to have a self-acceptance by when he was still young, he always blamed himself, asking God why he found himself like this.
There were a lot of people who always looked down on him, being the reason why he always questioned God.

He was trolled on various occasions, people telling him that he’s half a human and he does not belong to the same class with others.
But as he grew he became a man.
He realized that people are the same no matter the age, no matter the height, the gender, Etc.

Education

What he knows, which is even more important, is that we are all created equals.
Dwarfism is the short stature that results from a genetic or medical condition.
As per different scientists, a common cause of dwarfism is a genetic mutation that affects bone growth.

A reminder that we should always respect people with dwarfism when we mock, make fun of them, bully or troll these people who are making them feel uncomfortable and loved and wanted.
Yet we all know deep down that we all need love and affection.
He says he had the chance of going to school and in class bullying went to another level.
While he was always included in everyone’s story, he was always the headline and this would always broke his heart.

But he kept focusing on lessons.

He knew education is the key, but life happened and he fought himself out of class.
It was long time ago and whenever teachers found someone all in class.
It was not allowed to attend a class when you are way older than others.
That was in the early 70s.
The man says he started going to school late due to the short stature.
He joined primary when he had 13 years and by when he was in P5 everyone could say that he was very old, despite the short stature.
The next was kicking him out of school just because of the edge barrier.
Being just away from school also discouraged this man, and this meant the future would be very difficult to handle without education.
He then started losing interest in many different things and had depression.
But as days passed he had to move on, see things differently and see the bigger picture.
It was time for him to get married.
He then started approaching women and asking them out, but the short stature remained a problem and many goals would be ashamed of walking with him when going out.
But time came and he met the right one.
He said they agreed to be a husband and wife to each other, then started living together.
To him he thought maybe he would give birth to only one short child.
He produced three children.
All of them are short, as short as the father, their two girls and one boy.

All of his children went to school, but life problems were.
Sometimes there is no school fees and the other time there is no food at home

And they’re going to school hungry, plus too much bullies at school made it hard for these children to continue their educational career.
All these above mentioned problems, and others they did not mention, were key factors that caused these children to drop out of school one by one.
And among all these children no one by now is going to school.

Consequences
He says Hmm, God, lever is a 27 year old.
She says she faced a lot of consequences of being a short person, same as the father.
She says they are not respected.
People would always surround and Bully.
Her people are always staring at her more especially if she goes far from this Village.
She says she studied but never graduated.
She was just away from class because of failing to Pesco fees.
She says she faced a lot a Lord that she even wanted to commit suicide.
This is because one day a guy came and ripped her and the guy ended up making her pregnant.
That’s how she produced these twins back in 2016..

She is now struggling with raising these children and says her father is the one who helps in raising these twins.
Since the mother is unemployed, she’s worried about these children since she never planned having them, but thus life.
It happened.

Solutions
She is now trying to find Solutions about it Angelique is also one of these ones.
She says she also affects a lot of bullies due to this short stature and, as this one said, life is difficult here in the village, plus having dropped out of school at a young age, making life more difficult because she does not have a lot of skills to compete for the job, says she only have a few sewing skills and wishes to be a tailor, but adds she needs more training so as to improve her skills with the provision of a sewing machine and a little training.
She knows very well that she can be productive.
15 year old Ferdinand is the last born in this family, he says.
He dropped out of school this year as the father failed to pay his coffees to him.
He says he has a talent of playing football.
He is very good at playing football, he says, and aspires to be one of the football greats, but due to living in this Village while there are no football academies, it makes him lose hope and makes him think that maybe it’s hard for him to make his dreams come true as long as he has no training.

To him he says he was born in a wrong environment that does not favor and support his passion.
