Once known as one of the most beloved duos in the Hollywood landscape, things between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have taken quite the turn, and it isn’t looking to get better anytime soon. Not long after they eventually tied the knot after a decade-long relationship, Jolie filed a divorce against her Mr. & Mrs. Smith costar back in 2016, and the tumultuous proceedings still continue to this day.
And following the recent reports that have circulated, it seems Jolie has no plans of settling the situation anytime soon, as one source claimed she is eying to drag the divorce proceedings.

Angelina Jolie Allegedly Set to Drag the Divorce Proceedings
Since the duo separated back in 2016, the divorce proceedings have been going on for quite a while amidst their other legal battles, including the winery dispute. But it appears Angelina Jolie has no plan of putting the kibosh on the matter just yet, as a friend of Pitt recently claimed the actress is allegedly eying to drag the divorce battle for four more years. The source also alleged the actress is waiting for her twins, Knox and Vivienne, to turn 18 before they finalize the separation.
“She is going to drag this divorce out until the twins (now 14) turn 18. Four more years.”
The case has taken a heavy toll on Pitt’s expenses, as he has reportedly shelled out a $14M on the separation, including a $8M loan for Jolie to nab the $24.5 million house in Los Feliz, California.

Brad Pitt Claimed Angelina Jolie Contributed Nothing to Their Winery Business
Apart from their tumultuous divorce case, things have turned quite messy between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt following their winery dispute. Things between them escalated after Angelina Jolie sold her share of Miraval to Yuri Shefler’s company Tenute del Mondo, and Brad Pitt hasn’t been too amused by the situation. The Seven Star claimed the sale was illegal, as she reportedly did it without his consent. Since then, Pitt hasn’t pulled any punches, as last year he filed a lawsuit against his former partner, claiming Jolie contributed nothing to Miravel’s success. The 2022 filing stated,
“Jolie, meanwhile, contributed nothing to Miraval’s success. Instead, she allowed Pitt to pour money and sweat equity into the business in reliance on the consent right she owed him and a right of first refusal her business entity owed his.”

With Angelina Jolie allegedly considering dragging the divorce battle longer, it might turn out one of the most messiest and longest divorce battle in Hollywood’s history.
