Katie Price slammed as cruel by furious fans as she ‘hits’ new puppy live on TikTok

KATIE Price has come under fire from fans for ‘smacking her new puppy’ – just months after animal activists begged that she be banned from owning pets.

The mum-of-five has had seven pets die in her care since 2017, with the latest being her protection dog Blade.

In the latest controversy with the star, Katie is seen raising her hand towards her young German Shepherd called Tank during a TikTok live.

Tank had been misbehaving by sitting on Katie’s clothes as she told fans she was trying to get the kids and the dogs “settled”.

“Get off,” she yelled at him.

“You’re sitting on my jumpers, my love jumpers that I love. Get off.

“Jesus Christ… Anyway, as I was saying…”

Katie was seen turning to the dog in frustration with her hand in the air.

TikTok viewers then heard a ‘loud smack’ while the dog was off-camera.

Laughing it off with fans, Katie added: “It’s hectic in here.”

Her friend was then heard in the background telling her: “It’s like having a baby – worse actually. At least a baby would just sit there.”

One viewer said: “Did she just hit her dog?”

Another replied: “Omggggg.”

After her previous dog Blade’s death in June, Katie insisted she is “determined to keep Tank safe” and out of harm’s way.

Blade was hit by car near her house in a shock accident on the A24, which is close to Katie’s East Sussex home.

It followed a petition online to stop the star from owning any more pets, which reached 35,324 signatures.

Katie said at the time of Blade’s death: “Blade, my guard dog, unfortunately, it upsets me to talk about, but has been killed by somebody, he wasn’t just run over. He was killed. There is a police investigation about it.”

She then revealed she had been visited by the RSPCA, claiming the animal welfare charity had “no concerns”.

The former glamour model insisted that there was a “deliberate target to kill Blade”.

The tragedy happened just seven months after another of Katie’s dogs, Sharon, was killed on the same road.

The year before that, a delivery driver hit her Alsatian, Queenie, who was gifted to her by ex Kieran hayler on her 38th birthday.

In 2020 a second Alsatian, Sparkle, was hit by a car after escaping onto the A24.

Months later, French Bulldog Rolo suffocated after being squashed underneath a chair.

Katie also had to give away an out-of-control Alsatian, Bear, for attacking other animals.
