Kim Kardashian also enlisted the help of NBA player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunders and NFL defensive end Nick Bosa of the San Francisco 49ers for the campaign.
Skims is adding men’s boxers, briefs, undershirts, T-shirts, tank tops, and leggings to its online store this week.
The designs will range in price from $16 to $54, and packs from $42 to $98.
“There really is a niche in the marketplace for our designs, our color tones and our materials,” Kim told the Wall Street Journal.
The Kardashians star – who celebrated her 43rd birthday this weekend – explained her decision to feature three athletes in the men’s campaign.
“They’re all just individually so great in their fields, but also all three are so different,” she said.
Kim launched Skims in 2019, with a range of lingerie and compression shapewear designs in nude tones.
The company is valued at $4billion today, according to the WSJ.
Kim’s daughter North, 10, appeared to hint at the men’s line during a TikTok Live days earlier.
The mother and daughter went on the platform to film themselves watching the latest episode of The Kardashians.
At one point, North said: “Guys, there’s another brand coming up.”
Kim asked her “what brand” she was talking about, and North responded, “You know!” with a sly grin.
Kim cut her off before she could expand, saying sternly: “You don’t talk about people’s business like this. Just chill.”
It’s not just Skims that Kim has major plans for.
In March, The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed that North is launching her own skincare and toy line as Kim has filed four new trademarks.
The first trademark filed is for “non-medicated skin preparations, skin moisturizers, skin lotions, skin creams, skin cleansers.”
North’s beauty line also plans to expand into: “Skin serums, facial oils, body oils, bath and shower gels, bubble bath, body powders, cosmetics, fragrances, hair care preparations,” and more.
The Hulu star also plans for North to build her own toy business empire, as a second trademark details “toy figures, doll accessories, dolls, drawing toys, infant toys, mechanical action toys, play sets for action figures, soft sculpture toys, bath toys,” and more.
Her toy company may also include: “Children’s educational toys for developing fine motor and cognitive skills, musical toys, toy food, toy cookware, baby gyms, playground balls, and sport balls.”
North’s third trademark promises advertising services and her fourth includes “entertainment in the nature of providing information in means of a global computer network in the fields of entertainment and pop culture.”
Kim filed similar trademarks for North back in 2019, but at the time included an additional trademark for clothing.
