A video of Kim Kardashian and North West is going viral after a major error was made in flags – specifically of Brazil and Palestine.
TikTok user chisme4lifee posted a video yesterday of Kim and North in a livestream video that shows the 10-year-old asking her mother what flag emoji viewers used in their comments was.
Without hesitation, Kim told North right away that the emoji people used in their comments was the Brazilian flag.
Kim told North that the flags were likely being added to the chat because people are talking about ‘all the soccer stuff.’
The emoji count on the TikTok video indicates that the Palestine flag emoji was used in at least 333 comments during the live stream.
Kim Kardashian and her daughter North West have gone viral due to Kim telling her daughter that the Palestine flag was the national flag of BrazilKim Kardashian appears to mistake Palestine’s flag for Brazil’s
Opinions are being thrown around left and right in the comment section of the TikTok video regarding Kim and her ‘flag mix-up.’
Some users believe that Kim’s answer was because she honestly thought that the flag emoji was of Brazil rather than Palestine.
One person commented: ‘This woman somehow got into law school.’
Another person said: ‘Kim kardashian representig American ppl in one video.’
‘The brazil flag doesnt even have those colors,’ stated another TikToker.
Some TikTok users have taken Kim’s answer seriously and are assuming that she truly believes the Palestine flag is actually the flag of Brazil
Many people on TikTok also believe that Kim told North the Palestine flag was the Brazil flag in order to protect her from knowing anything about the Israel-Hamas war, which began on October 7.
One person asked: ‘Why are ya mad at her for protecting her daughter – she’s young yet she doesn’t need to be traumatized.’
Another TikToker stated: ‘That’s a good mom right there. Protecting her innocence.’
People also believe that Kim told her the wrong answer on purpose to protect her daughter from asking about the status of the Israel-Hamas war
Kim’s way of changing the subject may have worked in her favor, as North did not correct her, nor did she ask about the war.
Major League Soccer has also been in the news – Brazil recently due to their 2-0 loss to Uruguay last Tuesday.
She also suggested that she and North, ‘read tweets’ and then mentioned that people are trying to ‘set up uncle Scott on a date.’
Kim posted a statement regarding the Israel-Hamas war on October 11 in an Instagram post as a message to her Jewish friends and family.
It said: ‘I love you. I support you. I have heard about how scared you feel during this time, and I want you to know you are not alone in this.’
‘As human beings with a heart, how can anyone not be devastated by these horrific images that we will never be able to unsee?’ she asked.
She concluded her three-photo post: ‘Prayers and Peace always.’
